I have a customer with a lab environment building. They have a 10x15 storage room storing sensitive chemicals that needs to be cooled to 60 degrees year round but they do not want a gas refrigerant used for the evaporator fan coil. My question is how to find a small enough water chiller for a room this size? I would appreciate your thoughts, Thanks!
If it is part of a bigger building, then you may tap onto existing chilled water using a small chilled water FCU. Otherwise, I don’t think there is any standard commercial unit that has such small capacity. Custom made could be possible.
They do not have a chiller on the building. Do you offer design help if the customer wants to go with the custom option? I could do a block load calc on the room
