In case of Trane Centrifugal Water Cooled Chiller of 650 TR (Primary Constant, Secondary Variable), will there be any saving from putting VFD in modulation on Cooling Tower Fan or Condenser Pump. Or will that be counter productive. What best logic to deploy to mange the trade -off. Please advise
For fluctuating load, putting VFD on cooling tower fans will usually save you energy. For condenser pumps, the saving is usually very minor and sometimes counter productive. Thank you.
